Terms and Conditions

This summary provides an overview of the most important agreements to ensure a smooth and successful event. The full Terms and Conditions of UnrealDJ always remain binding.

Setup & Accessibility

• A properly accessible and paved loading/unloading area must be available.
• Any obstacles (stairs, narrow hallways, elevators) must be communicated in advance.
• A parking space must be available for the DJ. Any parking fees or permits are at the client’s expense.

Space & Power Supply

• Minimum required space: 4 meters wide and 2 meters deep.
• At least one free power group (220V / 16A) is required.
• The power outlet should preferably be within 10 meters of the DJ setup.

Booking Confirmation

• For bookings with an invoice amount above €450, a deposit of €100 is required.
• The booking date is only confirmed after the deposit has been received.
• Until the deposit is paid, UnrealDJ reserves the right to release the date to other clients.

Payment

• Full payment must be completed no later than the day of the event, unless agreed otherwise.
• In case of late payment, UnrealDJ may postpone or refuse performance until payment is received.

Cancellation

In case of cancellation, the following fees apply:

• 6 months to 4 weeks before the event: 30%
• 4 weeks to 7 days before the event: 50%
• 7 days to 24 hours before the event: 70%
• Within 24 hours before the event: 100%

Additional Playing Time

Extra playing time is possible at the following rates:

• 1 hour – €75
• 30 minutes – €40
• 15 minutes – €22.50

Extra time must be paid in advance. Without mutual agreement, the event ends at the scheduled time.

Event-Type Specific Agreements

💍 Weddings

• We recommend providing the schedule, first dance and special requests at least 1 week in advance.
• UnrealDJ gladly assists with timing, atmosphere and music selection for ceremony, dinner and party.
• Changes on the event day will be handled as flexibly as possible.

🏢 Corporate Events

• A contact person on-site must be available during the event.
• Schedules, speeches and breaks should be agreed upon in advance.
• Sound levels and end times will be coordinated with the venue and organization.
• Invoicing can be issued on company name with reference numbers if required.

🎪 Festivals & Large Productions

• A production schedule and clear timeline must be available.
• Stage, roof and weather protection must be arranged in advance.
• Technical facilities and monitoring must be coordinated beforehand.
• UnrealDJ is not responsible for delays caused by other artists or production teams.

Other Important Agreements

Technical Issues & Complaints

• Complaints must be reported immediately to the DJ so adjustments can be made on-site.
• Complaints must be submitted within 7 days after the event at the latest.

Sound & Permits

• The client is responsible for arranging all required permits.
• If the event must be ended early due to noise complaints or police intervention, the full invoice amount remains payable.

Liability

• Damage caused by guests, poor power supply or weather conditions is at the client’s expense.
• UnrealDJ’s liability is limited to the amount paid out by the insurance, with a maximum equal to the invoice amount of the event.

Music Licensing (BUMA / STEMRA / SENA)

• The client is responsible for arranging and paying all required music licenses, unless the venue has already covered these rights.

Photo & Video Recordings

• During the event, photo and video recordings may be made for promotional purposes (website & social media).
• Any objections must be communicated in writing prior to the event.

Force Majeure

• In case of force majeure (illness, technical failure, extreme weather, government measures), UnrealDJ will always seek a suitable solution.
• If performance is not possible, paid amounts will be refunded without further compensation.
